The Tibetan sand fox is a species of true fox endemic who widespread in the steppes and semi-deserts of Tibetan Plateau, especially in north and west of the Tibetan Plateau. It also lives in some plateaus even up to altitudes of about 5300 m, such as Ladakh plateau in Nepal, Sikkim, and Bhutan. It is listed as one of the extinction animal by the IUCN.
The length of sand fox can reach 50 to 60 cm and its weight can reach 3 kilograms.Adults fox even can reach 4 to 5.5 kilograms.Tibetan fox is small and cute,and it has soft, dense coats.
