Tibet Travel Permit Update on Sept 5th, 2015
The Tibet travel permit policy had some restriction in early Sept, permit was closed from Sept 3rd to 11th, because it was the 50th anniversary of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), but now the restriction lifted and all the Tibet travel permit is back to its normal process and no more restrictions, applying the Tibet travel permit would take around 7 working days and we suggest you to book your Tibet tour at least 15 days in advance. Another hot news is the road construction from Shegar (New Tingri) to Mt.Everest Base Camp (EBC) was completely finished and it is well paved, so the history of bad and bumpy road to EBC is ended now.
