Tibet Travel Permit Update on Sept 5th, 2014
Tibet Travel Permit for Mt.Kailash Tours and far western Tibet is remained under restrictions, but it seems getting more relax compare to the past few weeks, it used to restricted for travelers coming/going to Nepal by land but now the permit is issuing even coming/going by land from Nepal. Tibet travel permits for other regions have no more restriction and can be obtained through tour companies.
Note: Part of the road from Kathmandu to Tibet border was blocked by landslide few weeks ago, now it is recovering slowly, please check detail of the road condition on our News Page Here.
FYI: you should book your tour at least 20 days in advance to get the Tibet travel permit on time.
Norwagians are still difficult to get the Tibet permit for the time.
If there is any changes in the permit policy, we will update here in the first minutes, so please check back with us, and feel free to write us an email at [email protected].
