Tibet Mt.Everest Base Camp Would Reopen From July 1st, 2015

Tibet Mt.Everest Base Camp was closed for the whole month of June after the Nepal earthquake, at the same, the road from the main road on the friendship highway to EBC was reconstructing since from last year, therefore by concerning the safety issue, EBC was closed for both foreign traveler as well as Chinese tourist. According to our sources, Tibet EBC would reopen from July 1^st, but there is a time limit for the cars to EBC due the construction work, all the cars are allowed to in/out for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, which are from 7 am to 9 am and 7 pm to 9 pm, so rest of the time the road will be closed to carry the road construction work, so you need to plan well for the restricted timeline at the EBC region, Tibet tourism bureau has started to issue the Tibet travel permit for EBC  from yesterday and other related departments also approve other permits to EBC from today, those who already got the Tibet travel permit can also go to the Tibet tourism bureau to add the EBC on the permit without any problem.
