Most Tibet lute is made of hand-carved wood, which are entirely wood. It is originally belongs to the Tibetan bard, and its strings running parallel to the sound table with a neck and a deep round back. The back is made of hardwood, such as maple wood, cherry wood and so on. They will use some glue stick the edge to another edge of the instrument.Strings were historically made of animal gut, usually from the small intestine of sheep. Gut is more authentic for playing period pieces. There are braces inside on the soundboard to give it strength. The neck is made of light wood, the lute’s fretboard is mounted flush with the top. The geometry of the lute belly is relatively complex, involving a system of barring in. The lower part of the lute is decorated with some patterns in relief, which is more beautiful than before. The body of the lute is covered with leather, some leather also fixed with small nails.
