There are quite few local guesthouses to stay at the Tashi Do, all the local guesthouses and restaurants are built by cardboard with thermos-coil inside the thin metal to keep the rooms warm, rooms are very simple with only beds and a small table, sometimes nights may get little cold and it is good idea to bring a sleeping bag or ask the hotel owner to provide few more blanket in case if you need in the mid night, also the hotel provide a thermos-flask of boiled water for washing. Between the altitude, cold and the barking dogs, most people sleep fitfully at best. None of the hotels have indoor toilets or running water. Most of the accommodation is only available between April and October.
