Dhood Gu is undoubtedly Tibet’s most characterful hotel, located in a traditional building with Tibetan décor throughout. The rooms are not large but design in true Tibetan style and the hotel staff are extremely friendly. There is a modest breakfast restaurant but the hotel’s location in the old part of Lhasa means that you are only 3-5 minutes away from numerous restaurants. It is quite near to most of the famous landmarks in Lhasa City, like Jokhang temple, Ramoche Temple, Barko street and Potala Palace.
