Since a year ago, there is a rumor saying all the land cruiser cars in the Tibet tourism industry would be expelled from the market, because all the Toyota land cruisers in the industry are more than 18 years old, finally it was decided this year April and already around 900 land cruisers were discarded and local government has invested 900 brand news cars like Land cruiser 200, Prado 4WD, Buick Van, Hundai Van, Ford Minubus and so on, so this is the first part of the project and within this year, all the Tibet tourist cars will change to brand new.

Then before end of this year, all the Tibet tourist land transportation cost will be standardized to improve the whole market unfair competition, so every one estimate the transportation cost will rise from 15% – 20% in 2016 which will certainly rise the whole Tibet tour cost, in order to keep the standard transportation well practiced in the whole tourism market, all the tourist cars will managed by two or three central car companies carrying the same policy.

Therefore, if you are flexible, then 2015 is the best choice to travel Tibet before its tour cost rise certainly and some of the brand new cars are already in operation based on the current normal cost, so in this way, you can get the same comfort and services without raising the cost.
